Dave Hill is a genius. Not only has he captured an eye-capturing motion in a crisp in-focus way, but he has also captured the proper facial expressions from two subjects. The lighting is especially brilliant; you can see half of the sun in the sky peeking out from between the subjects two uplifted hands. This above and back lighting has sent shadows down the slide from subject one and across subject one's face. The shadows make subject one look even more intense in his extreme motion.

ReplyDeleteDo you think this lighting is real? Or, do you think it's a partial fiction: a drawn sun mixed up with generator-run lights lighting a playground scene, etc.?
